About Caygnus
About the studioCaygnus is an independent product studio in Bengaluru, India, founded in 2022. We build and run our own consumer apps: Trinetra is live on Google Play, and Urban Hood is in an invite-only beta. We also design and build products for founders and businesses.
Meet the studioIn Bengaluru, India. We work with founders and businesses worldwide.
Working with us from anywhereOur own apps keep our standards honest. We are their first users, so we feel every rough edge ourselves. Client work gets the same standard.

Work with usYes. Alongside our own products, we design and build software for founders and businesses, from a first v1 to a full rebuild.
Work with usWrite to us through the contact page, or book a 20-minute call. We reply ourselves, usually within a couple of days. After a short call, you get a proposal or a paid discovery sprint.
Go to the contact pageNo. Your weekly capacity and milestones are written into the contract. Our own apps get the time left over.
How engagements workA focused MVP, covering strategy, design and a shipped v1, typically takes 10 to 16 weeks from kick-off. A full 0→1 that starts from positioning runs a little longer.
See the four stepsTypeScript across the stack: Next.js for web, React Native for mobile, Node for backends. We run our own products on the same tools.
Both. Founders come to us for a first version built right. Established businesses come to us to replace software that no longer works. The process is the same either way.
Pricing
How pricing worksIt depends on scope, integrations and how much is still unknown. We do not publish a price list. You get a real number after a short call.
How pricing worksA 0→1 project is billed by milestones, such as design sign-off, beta and launch. Work after launch runs on a monthly retainer.
A short, paid piece of work that settles scope, risks and a plan before the build. If you continue with us, its cost is credited against the build.
You do, on final payment: the code, the designs and the IP. We keep our reusable internal tools and libraries, and license them to you.
