About

A small studio with a long attention span.

Who we are, how we think, and the plain facts. A person is one email away for anything deeper.

Caygnus is an Indian product studio that builds focused consumer software. For founders and businesses who want the same standard applied to their own product, we build that too. Founded in 2022 by Ojas, we started with a simple observation: the places we live deserve software made with the same care as anything built for Silicon Valley, and almost never get it.

So we build for those places, and we ship what we make. Trinetra is our guide to Nashik's temples, riverside ghats, and hidden corners. Urban Hood connects neighborhoods. Both exist because we wanted them to exist. We are our own first users, and now the same team designs and builds for clients the same way.

We're deliberately small. Small teams argue less and care more; every feature gets one more skeptical look before it ships. We'd rather run two products people love and take on a handful of client projects we're proud of than chase scale we can't stand behind.

What we hold ourselves to

Build for a place, not a market

Software gets better when it's accountable to something real, not an abstract market segment. It's how we build our own products, and how we approach every client's, too.

Stay after launch

Shipping is the start of the commitment, not the end. We maintain, listen, and improve for as long as a product carries our name.

Honest by default

No invented numbers, no fake testimonials, no dark patterns. If we can't say it truthfully, we don't say it.

Work with us

We take on a handful of client projects each year and build them the same way we build our own products. If that sounds right for what you're building, tell us about it.
